김미정 박사는 액션러닝 방식을 적용한 BBL (Building a Better Life – Construyendo una mejor vida), 즉 [더 나은 삶 만들기] 프로그램을 설계하고 적용하여, “살며, 배우며, 리드하며, 성장하는 법”이란 부제로 라틴아메리카의 온두라스 농촌지역의 리더들과 농촌 지역사회 개발의 여정을 TEDx에서 공유하고 있다.
현재 BBL Learning 대표로 ‘배움을 통해 더 나은 삶을 만들어가기’ 위해 청소년, 지역사회리더, 교육기관 교수자 등을 대상의 프로그램을 디자인하고 운영하고 있다
