배움은 매우 중요합니다. 우리가 스스로 결정하고, 옳고 그름을 분별하며, 더 나은 선택을 할 수 있도록 힘을 주기 때문입니다. BBL은 리더, 청소년, 교사들에게 공동체 안에서 더 나은 삶을 만들어갈 수 있는 학습 기회를 제공합니다.

“배움은 무지와 가난에 맞서 싸울 수 있는 힘을 준다”라는 말이 있습니다. 저희가 꿈꾸는 비전은 모든 사람이 자신의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘하고 존엄을 지키며 더 나은 삶을 살아가는 세상입니다. 그리고 우리는 배움을 통해 그 목표를 이룰 수 있다고 믿습니다. 이것이 바로 BBL의 사명입니다 — 배움을 통해 더 나은 삶을 만들어가는 것.

BBL 프로그램에서 공동체의 삶의 질을 떨어뜨리는 문제를 발견하고 해결하는 역량을 배우게 됩니다. 또한 ‘나는 내 삶의 저자’로서 주도적으로 나의 삶을 이끌어갈 수 있도록, 삶의 터전에서 협력하며, 삶과 배움이 분리되지 않는 경험을 통해 결국 더 나은 삶으로 이어지는 변화를 이끌어갈 것입니다.

Learning is of vital importance because it gives us the ability to make decisions and to distinguish between right and wrong. Through BBL programs, we provide learning opportunities for leaders, youth, and teachers to build a better life in their communities.

It is often said that “learning gives us the ability to wage war against ignorance and poverty.” We hold a vision: a world where every person reaches their full potential and lives a better life with dignity. This is the vision of BBL. And I believe we can achieve it through learning. This is the mission of BBL: building a better life through learning.

IIn BBL programs, participants develop the skills to identify and address the issues that lower the quality of life in their communities. As “authors of their own lives,” they learn to take initiative and lead their own paths. By collaborating in their communities and experiencing learning that is fully integrated with everyday life, they ultimately drive meaningful change toward a better life.

El aprendizaje es de suma importancia, porque nos da la capacidad de tomar decisiones y distinguir entre el bien y el mal. A través de los programas de BBL brindamos oportunidades de aprendizaje a líderes, jóvenes y maestros para construir una vida mejor en sus comunidades.

Se dice que “el aprendizaje nos otorga la capacidad de librar la guerra contra la ignorancia y la pobreza”.” Tenemos una visión: un mundo donde cada persona alcance su máximo potencial y viva una vida mejor con dignidad. Esa es la visión de BBL. Y creo que podemos lograrlo a través del aprendizaje. Esa es la misión de BBL: construir una vida mejor a través del aprendizaje.

En los programas de BBL, los participantes desarrollan las habilidades para identificar y resolver los problemas que afectan la calidad de vida en sus comunidades. Como “autores de sus propias vidas”, aprenden a tomar la iniciativa y a dirigir su propio camino. Al colaborar en sus comunidades y vivir experiencias donde el aprendizaje y la vida están completamente integrados, finalmente generan cambios significativos hacia una vida mejor.
